Cross-Disciplinary Application of Artificial Intelligence

Prof. Han-Chieh Chao
President National Dong Hwa University, Taiwan
Department of Electrical Engineering, National Dong Hwa University, Halien, Taiwan

Abstract:
The focus of the cross-disciplinary application is not to fully understand all the knowledge in the new domain but to think about how to connect the domain knowledge of the two fields and to propose new ideas that neither the original domain nor the new domain can bring up. For this kind of integrated thinking ability, a fundamental premise is abstract thinking ability, which is an inductive method. It is not purely an operational detail but summarizes an essence. There are infinite possibilities for applications in future life. Artificial intelligence computing technology's maturity will help develop related applications. I will introduce some examples of artificial intelligence in cross-disciplinary applications in this talk.
